The XG-1299 is the top-of-the-line cassette in the classic Eagle family (XX1 level): the lightest and most refined for XD drivers, in a 10-50T version with a copper finish.
- Gear ratios: 10-12-14-16-18-21-24-28-32-36-42-50T (500% range)
- Construction: X-Dome architecture: ten sprockets machined from a single block of steel and a large aluminum sprocket joined by pins. Maximum stiffness with minimum weight.
- Driver body: SRAM XD (not compatible with HG or Micro Spline).
- Finish: Copper with black details.
- Compatibility: SRAM Eagle 12-speed drivetrains (mechanical and AXS) with Eagle chains. Not compatible with Eagle Transmission (T-Type).
In gravel, it is the basis for mullet setups: Eagle AXS derailleur with road AXS shifters, for those who need near-MTB gearing for technical climbs or loaded bikepacking.
