📍 Almería, Andalusia · The only desert in Europe
The only genuine desert in Europe, setting for spaghetti westerns and home to unique lunar landscapes. Endless tracks, total silence, and a light you won't find anywhere else on the continent.
It is a unique paradise for gravel riding, thanks to its endless dirt tracks, ramblas (dry riverbeds), and badlands scenery.
Ideal circuits for regular cyclists looking to live the full experience of a pure desert, with leg-breaking but rideable climbs.
Compact dirt tracks with some unavoidable patches of fine sand in the riverbeds.
